Description and Outline
Projects
The class will
be divided into project teams of approximately five persons each. Each team will be assigned a weather
station somewhere on this planet.
Beginning with the second week of class, the team will keep a log of the
weather at that site and will prepare a forecast for the station once per
week. The team will also conduct a research study
of the climatology of the station.
At the end of the term, the team will produce a report on the station’s
weather and climatology, along with a summary and analysis of their
forecasts. The report will be in
the form of a team web page, and it will be due on the last scheduled day of
class.
More details on the nature of the projects will be posted
here soon.
