7:00 AM

sicky.

Activity: 40 minute jog
Distance: 4.25 miles
Time: 40:00
Average: 9:24
Weather: 72/72 wow, it's gross out.

I guess that I contracted some sorta virus and was under the weather for the last couple of days. I really thought that it might be strep from the way it came on and since my only symptoms were a sore throat and fatigue. Throughout the day Monday, my throat continued to get worse; therefore, I didn't get in a recovery swim. I woke up on Tuesday and could barely swallow, so I made a doctor's appointment for that afternoon. By the time I got to the doctor though, I was already starting to feel better. I'm so thankful that it wasn't whatever Petters had because it would suck to be congested this weekend!

I felt much better this morning and decided to do a jog before Jon and I headed to Pittsburgh for Warped Tour (ha I know. thought alkaline trio was playing, but they backed out. at least bad religion will be there!). I almost felt energetic on this run! I was a bit worried about being practically inactive this week; I've been preparing for weeks now though and a few days off will not significantly affect my performance level.

mood: feelin' so much better!
health: should be back to 100% in a day tops.
