In other news, I'm finally starting to feel like I am getting back into race shape. I was able to run 8:30 pace for the 5 mile that I ran this morning. One of my big training goals is to significantly improve my speed. I'd like to be able to run a half marathon at about 8:15 pace or so. This goal is entirely feasible considering that I ran last year's Presque Isle Half as a 'training run' for Philly at nearly 9:00 pace with negative splits. If I can meet this goal, then I think that qualifying for the Boston marathon is within reach...
