The Atmospheric Sciences research group (https://duw.unibas.ch/en/research-groups/atmospheric-sciences/) is an international working group at the Department of Environmental sciences of the University of Basel. Our group operates urban micrometeorological towers in Basel since 1992, studying surface energy and CO2 fluxes. Our research involves the combined use of in-situ observations (i.e. eddy covariance, radiation balance, meteorology), remote sensing data and geospatial modeling.
